Overview
APOAI 2026 is a regional competition for secondary school students in the Asia-Pacific, designed to promote AI education and encourage collaboration across the region.
It will be hosted by China and held on 13 June 2026 in a distributed hybrid format, combining local in-person participation with a unified online platform.

For Organisers
APOAI 2026 follows the IOAI accreditation framework for national and territorial participation. The list of participating countries and regions for this edition has been confirmed and is published on the Countries & Regions page.

Participation
For Students
Students cannot participate individually. Participation must be through selection processes organized by the Local Organiser in each participating country or region. For inquiries, please contact the Local Organiser listed on the Countries & Regions page. The APOAI International Organising Committee does not handle individual requests from contestants.
Delegations
Each participating country or region may nominate up to 8 contestants to form its official delegation. Delegations must be officially nominated and submitted by the designated Local Organiser of the respective country or region, and all delegations will participate according to the same contest schedule.
